How to get started
A gentle, step-by-step guide.
What My Life Wall does
My Life Wall gives you one wall for your whole life. Every year of your life gets its own place on the wall. You open a year and write down what happened, in your own words. If you would rather talk than type, you can say it out loud and the app writes it down for you. You can add a photo to any year too.
When your wall is full of memories, the app gathers them into a Life Book you can print, keep on your shelf, and hand on to your family. Nothing is rushed. You can add a little at a time, whenever a memory comes to you.

- The first time, your Mac may say it "cannot check it for harmful software", because this is a new app. This is normal and safe. Click Done to close that message.
- Now open the Apple menu (top-left) → System Settings → Privacy & Security. Scroll down and you will see a line about My Life Wall. Click the Open Anyway button next to it, then click Open once more to confirm. You only need to do this the very first time.
